What is perimeter? - Geometry for Kids

Educational video for children to learn what the perimeter of a polygon is and how we calculate it. The perimeter is the sum of the sides of a geometric figure, that is to say, it's the measuring unit of its area, that's why it is measured in feet, inches, miles or other measuring units. And how do we calculate it? To calculate the perimeter of a figure we add up the lengths of each one of its sides. In this video, children will look at several perimeter examples of objects around them, like a swimming pool or a vegetable garden. This is a math and geometry learning resource for children, excellent for elementary school.
